Ville Savimaa

Via Thumb­tack Press’s Tum­blr, I dis­cov­ered the illus­tra­tions of Ville Sav­i­maa. Orig­i­nal­ly a graph­ic design­er, he finds illus­trat­ing his pre­ferred way of express­ing himself.

His char­ac­ter-dri­ven works employ soft col­ors and curvy lines, and my eye gets lost when mov­ing through these images. The shad­ing and draw­ing  is very vis­cous. Every­one feels like they are on the verge soft­en­ing and melting.
