I love art challenges. Anything that prompts you to create something—whether that’s over the course of a day, week, month—is a great way to stretch your creativity. In clicking around Instagram, I came across Still Here, a weekly still life drawing challenge hosted by Zena Kay and Tess Smith-Roberts.
Each week, Still Here posts a picture of a still life from multiple angles. You are then invited it to draw it in any way you like. Open to interpretation, artists have recreated them in a variety of media and styles. Some take a naturalistic approach while others favor flattened compositions.
