Delicate 3D Embroideries Think Beyond the Hoop to Celebrate the Exquisite Beauty of Nature

Artist Pip­pa Haynes, aka Lemon Pep­per Stu­dio, thinks beyond the hoop to cre­ate embroi­dered sculp­tures fea­tur­ing plants, fun­gi, and more. The del­i­cate pieces are first stitched on fab­ric inside of an embroi­dery hoop and then extract­ed and formed into three-dimen­sion­al scenes. Dis­played in shad­ow box­es, they have a spec­i­men vibe about them.
