Lily Padula

I dis­cov­ered the work of Lily Padu­la from Daniel Fishel. I feel like I do a lot of click­ing and look­ing at illus­tra­tors, but find­ing peo­ple like this always reminds me that there is so much tal­ent out there.

Lily is a New York based illus­tra­tor who com­bines dig­i­tal and graphite, a com­bo ya’ll know I love. Her illus­tra­tions reveal an inter­est in pat­tern and fash­ion. Her char­ac­ters in her illus­tra­tions are fash­ion­able, and it looks like Lily can’t resist the use of repeat ele­ments. I’d love to see her delve into some sur­face design like repeat pat­terns or something.
