Hye Jin Chung

I made my way to SPX this past week­end, and was­n’t dis­ap­point­ed. The amount of cool things I see and tal­ent­ed peo­ple in one sin­gle (large) room is always amazing.

One table I real­ly liked had the work of Hye Jin Chung, a New York based illus­tra­tor, fresh out­ta grad school like myself. Her work is a mix of draw­ing and col­lage. To artic­u­late a part of the draw­ing, she’ll make marks on top of the paper, cre­at­ing a push and pull of shape and line.
