Lifelike ‘Fake Cake Clocks’ Are a Delicious Way To Tell Time

I have a huge sweet tooth and I love to bake. (I’ve made it a recent tra­di­tion to bake a cake every New Year’s Eve!) So it’s no sur­prise I’m drawn to this series of Fake Cake Clocks from Hol­ly of Sun Sprin­kles. She has cre­at­ed wall clocks that look just like the tops of gooey frost­ed desserts. Using poly­mer clay, she’s repli­cat­ed piped icing and frost­ing that looks just like it’s been spread with an off­set spat­u­la. Each clock holds the dis­tinc­tion of being a func­tion­al device while also mak­ing you hungry.
