Angie Nguyen creates dreamlike images of cats, boba tea, and video games. The delicate illustrations are digitally drawn in a limited color palette and feature the likes of felines trying to get a high score in a fishy arcade, or in a role reversal, are the prize in a tricky claw machine. If you’re of a certain age (like me), you’ll appreciate the nostalgia inherent in Angies’ work. I spy an N64 in one of her pieces!

Follow Angie on Instagram for her latest work, and don’t skip on reading the captions. They offer great insight into the meanings behind her work, which are often based on memories and dreams from her youth. You can buy a selection of these dreamlike illustrations as prints in her Etsy shop.
