I’m Working on a Book! See Ya in January

It’s been a busy year for me. My writ­ing in Brown Paper Bag has been spo­radic (at best) over these past many months, and I’m going to be tak­ing off some time for a bit longer—I’m work­ing on a book! I’ve actu­al­ly been work­ing on it for a while, but it’s due in just a cou­ple of months so I’m going to ded­i­cate time to com­plet­ing it. I’ll be back with a reg­u­lar writ­ing sched­ule of three days a week come the very begin­ning of Jan­u­ary 2023.

I’m so excit­ed about this book; it’s a dream project for me. The work­ing title is Threads of Trea­sure: How to make, mend, and find mean­ing through thread. It will fea­ture fiber artist pro­files (along with their beau­ti­ful work), and it will empow­er you to find and cre­ate your own mean­ing through tex­tile art. It will be pub­lished in spring 2024, and I’ll be shar­ing more in the time to come!
