Inspired by “all things dec­o­ra­tive and sur­re­al,” illus­tra­tor Stephanie Sin­gle­ton cre­ates images that incor­po­rate flo­ral beau­ty with sub­ject mat­ter bor­der­ing on the bizarre. I espe­cial­ly enjoy her por­traits of peo­ple that explore the ele­ment of empti­ness. A face of a per­son is replaced with the sky, while the out­line of a dress reflects the envi­ron­ment around it. These beguil­ing pieces are as thought-pro­vok­ing as they are lovely.
