Inspired by British tra­di­tions, folk­lore, and super­sti­tions, illus­tra­tor Alice Pat­tul­lo cre­ates screen prints of sub­jects that reflect these pro­cliv­i­ties. My favorite images are set in the kitchen where we get a top-down view of uten­sils, ingre­di­ents, and qual­i­ty-con­trol (aka cats). The small details are what keep me com­ing back to these pieces—every time you gaze at them you’re sure to dis­cov­er some­thing new.
