With Easter just recently past, I noticed a trend scrolling through my Instagram feed: egg art. Doing this follows a long tradition that was popularized in Eastern Europe. In places including Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, and Hungry, eggs were dyed and decorated and given as gifts as part of a social and church events. The tiny, spherical canvases still remain popular today as illustrators adorn the tiny canvases with abbreviated versions of their art. Here are some of my favorites that I saw this past Easter weekend.
