I think the illus­tra­tions of Aitch fits the bill.  “My artis­tic work ranges from pink, cute, ele­gant, to some­times creepy, semi­re­li­gious, bizarre char­ac­ters, mixed in sur­re­al­is­tic sets,” she writes. The col­ors and their inten­si­ty is almost sac­cha­rine at times; But, when you take the time to look at the odd­i­ties with­in the work, it’s amusing.
