An eyrapport (my term for exhibition catalog) accompanies each show. Doing this provides additional context for an exhibition, something that I think is important. It also gives me the opportunity to invite different writers (who are outside of the illustration world) to participate. They speak on the themes present in the show.
The newest eyrapport, issue #3, goes along with the current exhibition, Long Form. It includes writing quotes from the illustrators, themes and tradition of long form illustration (like the Bayeux Tapestry!), and also teaches you how to make a Chinese Finger trap (because, why not?).
My favorite part about running eyra is that because it’s all online, so I get to learn new things about interactivity on the web. For this issue, I wanted you to be able to read each page full screen and easy to navigate. You use keyboard controls to do this. (If you are on a touch device, there is also an option for you as well.)
