Esmé Shapiro is a Brooklyn-based illustrator who recently graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her colorful works are a combination of tight drawing and free-flowing pigment, with some strange characters sprinkled in her compositions. A giraffe with four(?) eyes, a cat island, and plenty of naked buns are seen throughout. My favorite illustrations feature her lush vegetation (which is like, all of them).
Esmé has an Etsy shop, and she recently started a mural business, too. Neat!
