Character design has always fascinated me. It’s not my strong suit, and I’m always amazed at the imaginative details that artists and illustrators use for their characters.
Charles Huettner is an illustrator and animator who not only creates colorful birds, multi-headed beings, and robot-like creatures, but turns them into animated GIFS as well. It enhances the already playful nature of his work.
Charles is apart of Late Night Work Club, a collective of indie animators. They recently produced an anthology, Ghost Stores, which revolves around the theme of, you guessed it, ghost stories. All work was produced between jobs and class with no funding. See it below:
